And her Grandma Audree...
Morgan Saville with her grandparents just a few minutes after she was born. Grandma kept trying to get hold of Morgan, but Granddaddy would not let go of her....
Morgan and Grandma (known as Sissy), and Clayton. They call her Sissy because she was so young when Zeke was born, she did not think she was ready for a "Grandma" title yet!
Grandpa Canosa and Collie enjoying rocking.
Grandma Canosa and Colin having some quality time swinging and reading.
Perfect love sometimes does not come until grandchildren are
born.

Blessed is the man who keeps in touch with his childish heart.
A newborn Devon Stants with his Grandpa & Grandma Chiles. Grandma was in the room when Devon was born, and she was in the room when Devon died...the double burden of losing a grandson while helplessly watching her child go through losing her child.
Great Grandma Stants and Devon exchange a loving smile. He was always fascinated by her gentle spirit.
Devon resting on his Great-Grandma Johnson. That quiet but deadly stubborn streak Devon had--here is the guilty party! ;)
Devon and his Grandma & Grandpa Shaffer, who traveled often to see him and shower him with gifts designed to make sure he'd grow to be a "manly man".
Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Snider gazing in wonder at Devon, their first great-grandson, the only child of the only child of their son who died too young.
Devon with his Grandma & Grandpa Stants, who were blessed to live close by and hold him, play with him, teach him, and above all, love him, from the day he was born until the day he left us all.
Nobody can do for little children what
grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust
over the lives of little children.

Grandparents and grandchildren have a lot in common. They are inclined to straggle behind. They doze off at unexpected moments. They like fancy cakes. They are very fond of cats and know how to talk to them. They are given to falling over. They get the giggles. ~Pam Brown

Marshall and his Grandpa
If
a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder...he needs
the companionship of at least one adult who can share it,
rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the
world we live in.

What feeling is so nice as a child's hand in yours? So small, so
